Utilising over 20 years’ experience with a tried and tested fundamental fault finding process, it will show you how to identify the root cause of quality of cut issues, what affects these issues and how to rectify them.

Ian has been involved in the Turf care industry since the early 1980s. As a qualified sports turf manager Ian has worked in a variety of roles, ranging from amenity Horticulture, and sports turf management through to training. He is a City & Guilds assessor and LANTRA trainer with an understanding of the turfcare industry.
Ian has had key training roles within the turfcare industry working globally as international training manager for The Toro Company. He was one of the pioneers of the Landbased Training Accreditation Scheme as well as developing industry bespoke training. In 2015 Ian become a member of the Engineering council for the Institute of Agricultural Engineers, IAgrE and in 2016 was appointed as a trustee for IAgrE. Ian has a passion for the turfcare industry and in particular machinery education within the industry.
