Difficult conversations

This class will cover all aspects of having difficult conversations. Whether you are a course manager, deputy or team member, everyone has to tackle difficult conversations at some point in their career. The class will look at what a difficult conversation is and the reasons for people struggling to have such conversations. Being resilient is a key aspect, as is understanding conflict and the reasons for it in the workplace. The consequences of avoiding difficult conversations or handling them inappropriately can be far reaching and can cause discord within a team.

Preparation is key and you also need to ensure that your difficult conversation is heard, understood and acted upon.
