Mental health & wellbeing at work
Mental health and wellbeing is a priority. Delegates, their family, friends and the workplace will benefit from this engaging class. Providing an introduction to mental health first aider principles while exploring common sources of work‑related stress, anxiety and potential depression. Delegates are made aware of some signs and symptoms of concern in others and explore what does and doesn’t help. Many delegates choose to go on to be Mental Health First Aiders, but Graham’s session is invaluable on its own.
Learning outcomes:
- Awareness of common signs and symptoms of poor mental health
- How to listen to others
- How to support others
- What does and doesn’t help
- Promote own mental health and wellbeing
