This seminar will look at the science behind the breeding of fescue species and how they can be successfully integrated into today’s sports environments.

  • Wear tolerance improvements – looking at the traits
  • Disease tolerances of fescue to include dollar spot and red thread
  • The environmental impact

Sabrina Rasmussen has been breeding fine fescues and Browntop Bentgrasses at DLF for the past seven years.
Based at the trial station in Denmark, Sabrina extensively interacts with the other European and North American trial sites and operates at the forefront of modern grass breeding.
She is devoted to creating amenity varieties for the future of Sustainable Turf Management
