Media Centre
The BTME Media Centre will be located in the same location as 2024. The media centre is on the route from the main (East) entrance to Hall 3, where the BIGGA stand is located.
As always, we'll keep you energised with hot drinks and refreshments throughout the event, while there will also be Wifi and a small quiet room available for podcasting or interviews.
Media centre opening times:
Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 January - 9am to 5pm
Thursday 23 January - 9am to 12noon
BTME 2025 Digital Media Suite
The BIGGA website features a digital media centre, where you can download press releases and other statements relating to BTME for publication through you various channels.

Press briefings
Throughout the duration of BTME, a number of exhibitors will be hosting press conferences on their stands and you are invited to attend and get the latest scoop.

There will be three entrances to BTME. Two are at the Ripon Road end of the Harrogate Convention Centre and the third will utilise the centre's main entrance on King's Road. On What3Words that entrance is located at ///live.bets.global

Continue to Learn is the UK golf industry's largest and most influential education programme. Greenkeepers from all over Europe and further afield come together to access the latest knowledge and develop their abilities, which in turn raises playing standards and the enjoyment of the sport.

BIGGA Celebration
Tuesday 21 January, Royal Hall, 5.15pm to 6.30pm
This free-to-attend informal event features the announcement of the winners of the BIGGA Awards 2025 and recognises the achievements of other BIGGA members throughout the past year.

How to get there
By car
From the M1 or M62, exit at Leeds and take the A61 to Harrogate.
From the south A1 (M), exit at Junction 45 (Wetherby) and take the A661 to Harrogate or exit at Junction 47 (Knaresborough) and follow signs to Harrogate.
From the north (A1) exit at Junction 47 (Knaresborough) and follow the signs to Harrogate.
From the east or west, take the A59 to Harrogate.
On reaching the outskirts of Harrogate, follow the signs for BTME.
Car parking
Harrogate Convention Centre has an underground car park with around 158 spaces.
There are a further 1,200 spaces at the Jubilee and Victoria car parks located in the centre of Harrogate. Both are just a few minutes walk from the Harrogate Convention Centre.
By rail
Harrogate is linked to all major UK cities via Leeds and York, including a direct, daily connection to London.

By air
Leeds Bradford International Airport is the nearest to Harrogate and operates a 'Bus 2 Jet' service that links the airport with Harrogate town centre.

Badges and admittance
Name badges must be worn at all times in order to gain admittance to the exhibition and Continue to Learn education conference. Admission may be refused for security reasons if badges are not worn.
Dress code
Throughout BTME, the general dress code for attendees is smart casual attire.
Am I allowed to attend education and other events?
Media are invited to attend major events and product launches, such as the BIGGA Celebration, which will take place at 5.15pm on Tuesday 21 January in the Harrogate Convention Centre's Royal Hall.
During Continue to Learn, where space is available we will endeavour to enable members of the media to take part in the programme where possible. We are unable to allocate a pre-booked space to any of the seminars to members of the media, but you will be able to take up any of the additional spaces on the day, unless the seminar is completely full.
